For example, they’re not for people who want them to be overly traditional, or posed. Sure, we’ll take a few like that, but that’s not really what I’m about.
Yes, there are those shots that we NEED to get, but the idea of my family photography is to create a relaxing, real, and artistically athenic experience that you’ll enjoy and that will be more meaningful with each passing day.

Here’s how we begin: After booking your family lifestyle photo session, I’ll send you a brief questionaire. As soon as we make arrangements, I’ll show up at your favorite location or at your doorstep. Then, together we’ll create meaningful photographs through my calm, fun, and comfortable approach. Not to worry, I will give you cues and direction along the way.
My approach may be a litte different than what you’re accustomed to. I want to make photographs that will surprise you! If you’re looking for a photographer to just show up and get those typical, staged, posed, awkward photos, we might not be the best fit. I capture the true essance of our time together - as it unfolds -including the quirks, the mess, the imperfections. . . . That’s what I’m looking for. Real life. Those in-between moments, the ones you don’t plan for.
Here’s all I need from you to get the best results: I just ask that you be present, to be vulnerable. Please try not to worry about windblown hair, your new shoes getting a bit dirty while running around in dfferent landscapes, or your kids acting crazy. All I need from you is your trust. That way I can really see you, and create photos that you can look back on for years and remember exactly how it felt.
